A Club of Creeps: Trump’s Memory Hole

Once again, Donald Trump is doing what Donald Trump does best: tossing spaghetti at the wall and seeing which strand sticks. This time, the kitchen chaos is all about his past association with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell—and it’s not looking good, folks.

In an attempt to explain away his connection to Epstein, Trump has tested out more excuses than a fifth grader who forgot their homework. First, he claimed he kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago because he was “a creep.” Then, he pivoted to say it was due to staff poaching (because, you know, that’s way worse than sex trafficking). And then, in true Trumpian fashion, he threw a Hail Mary conspiracy, blaming Obama and Comey for putting him on “the list.” The man’s grasp on coherence is about as strong as his grip on reality.

Let’s not forget the cherry on this unsettling sundae: Trump once referred to Epstein as a “terrific guy” who “likes women on the younger side.” Combine that with the fact Epstein stayed on the guest list at Mar-a-Lago until 2007—years after these supposed “creep” issues—and the narrative begins to unravel like a Mar-a-Lago bathrobe.

The Victims? Oh Right, Them.

Amid this circus, there’s one group conveniently ignored: the victims. You remember them—the thousands of young women preyed upon by Epstein and Maxwell. Unfortunately, as usual, they’re being drowned out by political tap dancing and conspiracy jazz hands.

Virginia Giuffre’s family nailed it when they said Trump’s actions send a clear message: “Pedophiles deserve preferential treatment. Victims do not matter.” That quote hits harder than Trump’s spray tan in August. In a political landscape built on distraction, this one-liner cuts through the fog like a lighthouse of truth—and it should terrify every decent American.

Ghislaine Maxwell Gets a Visitor—and It Ain’t Santa Claus

In the most suspicious travel itinerary since Elvis faked his death and went to Argentina, Trump’s Deputy Attorney General—who also just happens to be his former personal lawyer—spent two whole days with Ghislaine Maxwell in prison. Yes, two days. Unprecedented? Absolutely. Suspicious? Oh, hell yes.

Federal prosecutors and legal experts are collectively facepalming. Why? Because there was allegedly no FBI witness or transcript from the meeting. That’s the prosecutorial equivalent of leaving the fox alone in the henhouse with a Sharpie and asking him to write his own alibi.

We’re left wondering: Was the goal to coax Maxwell into blaming Bill Clinton and exonerating Trump? If so, we’ve officially entered “House of Cards meets QAnon” territory.

A Cooperating Witness? More Like a Legal Dumpster Fire

Let’s do a quick résumé rundown of Maxwell’s credibility:

  • Convicted of child sex trafficking.
  • Twice charged with perjury (charges dropped).
  • No history of cooperating with the government.
  • A known liar according to public record.

So, naturally, she’s the Trump team’s Hail Mary witness? Sure. And I’m the Easter Bunny.

Attempting to use Maxwell to scrub Trump’s reputation clean is like using gasoline to put out a fire. Except in this case, the fire is already raging, the gasoline is flammable nonsense, and the fire marshal (a.k.a. the American public) is finally starting to notice.

Gaslight, Gatekeep, Grift

The Trump administration’s approach to damage control is textbook gaslighting: deny, deflect, and distract. It’s almost admirable how hard they’re working to rewrite the past in real time, except for the minor detail that people remember stuff. Especially when the gaslighter keeps leaving the receipts all over social media.

Case in point: Trump promised to release files about Epstein. He didn’t. He promised to protect Medicaid. He didn’t. He said he’d end the war in Ukraine on day one. Still going. He swore he’d drain the swamp, but judging by the stench, he just added alligators in MAGA hats.

Even his most loyal supporters are starting to rub their eyes and say, “Wait a minute… is that fog or just bullsh*t?”

Broken Promises and the Rise of Buyer’s Remorse

As more of Trump’s supporters come out of their Q-induced hypnosis, they’re realizing the campaign promises were less “Make America Great Again” and more “Make America Gullible Forever.”

Organizations like Home of the Brave are working overtime to amplify the voices of those affected by this mess—both victims of Epstein and those feeling betrayed by Trump’s endless bait-and-switch games.

Because at some point, even the die-hard faithful start to see that when your leader keeps changing the story, the truth probably left the building years ago.

Final Thoughts: When the Wall of Lies Starts to Crack

What we’re witnessing isn’t just a PR disaster—it’s a full-blown credibility implosion. Trump’s desperate attempt to distance himself from Epstein while secretly aligning his administration with Epstein’s convicted associate is a political third rail he can’t stop grabbing.

If the American public doesn’t demand accountability now, they’ll be complicit in letting power, privilege, and pedophilia swirl together in a toxic cocktail of injustice.

America, the victims deserve better. And frankly, so do we.
